February 27, 2016 | 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm | Farrell Hall, 1834 Wake Forest Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27106
Join us as Dr. Bas van der Vossen critically examines stakeholder theory, one of the dominant views about how to do business ethically. He will identify five socially destructive incentives that would be created if the theory were put in practice.
Bas van der Vossen is an Assistant Professor in the Philosophy Department at UNC Greensboro. His work focuses on questions of political philosophy, primarily about the ethical dimensions of international affairs and the justification of property rights.
