Michele Hartle is the Program Coordinator for the Center for the Study of Capitalism at Wake Forest University. In her role, she coordinates and manages the Center’s programs to support both day-to-day program management and long-term strategy. Her responsibilities include affiliate outreach, event planning, social and digital strategy, content creation, public relations, and Center development.

Michele’s years of experience cover a wide range of both program management and administrative support. She previously worked as a freelance content creator and copy writer and has contracted with the U.S. News & World Report, Laurel Leigh Gardening, and S.O.A.R. Tutoring and Advocacy, among others. She also worked with Roscoe Presbyterian Church for eight years as the Children’s Program Director—spearheading a variety of initiatives. Michele graduated from California University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures and earned her Secondary Teaching Certification from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania.

Currently, Michele serves on the Winston-Salem Theatre Alliance Board of Directors. She spends her time with her family and enjoys live theatre, preparing gluten-free and allergen-free foods, and planning the next fun activity.
