Steve Nedvidek is a native of Detroit, Michigan, but grew up in the South. Having lived in North Carolina since 1971, he moved to Atlanta in 1988.

Steve joined Chick-fil-A in October of that year and worked in a variety of roles through three decades with the company: film and video producer, marketing consultant and program manager for Kids Meal, Local Store Marketing, Retail Licensing, leader of Creative Services and Innovation/Creativity specialist.

Steve retired in July of 2018 and has spent his time on a variety of different things, including co-creating the award-winning graphic novel trilogy, The Jekyll Island Chronicles. Book One of the series was named one of the top books Georgians Should Read by the Georgia Center for the Book in 2017 and has had multiple printings. Book Two was released at the New York Comic Con in 2018 and Book Three was released in the fall of 2021.

Steve currently teaches at Wake Forest University as an adjunct instructor for Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Business courses. He has also coached executives across the country, from international retailers to marketers, educators, tech startups, and even truck drivers. Now retired, he has taken up professional acting again and has even recently built some science fiction miniatures for an upcoming feature film. Most of his time, however, has been spent being a grandfather to his two-year old granddaughter, Presley.

Residents of Kennesaw, Georgia, Steve and his wife Sue have been married for 35 years.  They have three children, Michael, Emily and Alex and are expecting their second granddaughter in December.
